hope, love, peace are some of the words used to describe how people feel about today
while the energy of today and watching history in the making were exhilarating to me, beginning my day hearing that statement put the events in eternal perspective for me.
as men and women created in the image of our Creator God we deeply long for hope, love and peace.
this morning as i considered matt's choice of words to describe this historic day, i found myself humming this:
my hope is built on nothing less
than Jesus' blood and righteousness
i dare not trust the sweetest frame
but wholly lean on Jesus' name
praying that the much congratulated President Obama finds his hope in Jesus Christ alone
